Terms of use

These terms apply when you play Hex Happens. Apple's standard licence terms for App Store apps also apply.

Your account

Your account is tied to your Game Center identity. Keep your Apple account secure, because anyone signed in to it can play as you. You can play as a guest without an account, but guests can't spend Ember or buy Ember packs.

Ember

Ember is a virtual currency that's only used inside the game. It has no cash value, can't be exchanged for money, and can't be transferred to another player. Ember you buy doesn't expire.

Purchases and refunds

Ember packs are sold through the App Store, and Apple handles payment. Refunds are decided by Apple. If a purchase is refunded, the Ember is removed from your account. If you've already spent it, future Ember pays back the difference first.

Fair play

Don't cheat, tamper with the game or its servers, or use bots. We may limit Ember earning on, or close, accounts involved in cheating.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account in the game: open Settings, then Account, then Delete account. This can't be undone, and any Ember you've bought is lost.

The game can change

We may update or rebalance the game, and online features may sometimes be unavailable. Runs and local co-op carry on without a connection, but spending Ember needs one.
